Obituary
Irene Lidester, 79 of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday night in her home.
She was born June 9, 1927 in Waveland to Ervin & Daisy Hunsicker Payne. She was a graduate of Waveland High School. She married Billy Lidester December 31, 1954 he preceded her in death March 18, 1992.
Irene was a member of Liberty Chapel Church and Ladies Aid. She also enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her daughters: Shari (Kevin) McCord of New Richmond and Peggy (Scott) Clifford of Royal Center, IN. Also surviving are two sisters: Marjorie (Leonard) Tavern of Terre Haute and Janet (Chick) Clements of Crawfordsville.
Funeral services will be held 10:00am Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Sparks officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery South. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 Monday.
