Jack R. Klepfer, 92, Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday at Whitlock Place.

He was born December 4, 1925 in Carmel to Birchie and Almeda (Lewis) Klepfer. He married Evelyn Gorman and she survives.

He had been a farmer and served in the United States Air Force. His memberships included the Masonic Lodge. He had also been active in4-H in both Montgomery and Boone Counties, served on the board of Montgomery County Waste District and Heartland Coop.

Survivors include children Tom (Cindy) and Richard (Tura) both of Crawfordsville. Grandchildren Scott (Lena) and Shannon (Jimmy) Bass and great-grandchild Zoey Bass. Two step grandsonsTodd (Nikki) Jones and Brad (Abby) Jones both of Lewisville, IN and 11 step great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:30. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery South.
