James D. Cantrell, 37, of Indianapolis passed away on November 9 in Terre Haute.
Mr. Cantrell worked in land surveying for the past 10 years in Indiana and in Texas. He attended Northridge Middle School and North Montgomery High School, and graduated from Park Senior High School in Cottage Grove, Minnesota.
He attended Mt. Pleasant Christian Church of Hall, Indiana.
He was born June 12, 1975, in Speedway to James F. Cantrell of Crawfordsville and Rebecca Butler (Mrs. Ben Davidson) of Lubbock, Texas. In 2005, he married Angie Vaughn. She survives.
He is also survived by a daughter, Grace Marie Cantrell, of Monrovia; a sister, Stephanie (Todd) Lemke of Austin, Texas; a brother, Stephen (Jen) Cantrell of Peoria, Illinois; two nephews and a niece.
A family service was held at Hunt & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, November 17 with the Rev. David Neese officiating.
