Obituary
James R. Edwards, 75, of Crawfordsville died Friday, April
3, 2015, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Mr. Edwards served in the Navy.
He was born May 3, 1939, at Crawfordsville,
to Lester and Rosa Shafer Edwards.
Survivors include: daughters, Roxanna
(Daniel) Crouch and Penny Hester, both of
Crawfordsville; sister Nadine Kites, Crawfordsville; a brother
and sister in Alabama; 10 grandchildren; and four great
grandchildren.
Son James R. Edwards II and grandson Jason Britt are
deceased.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, April
8 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Clarence Lee
officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends
may call noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to help with funeral
expenses.
