James M. Harwood, 68, of Crawfordsville, passed away Saturday at his residence.
Mr. Harwood was born Jan. 23, 1940 in Crawfordsville, the son of Ralph E. Harwood and Evelyn M. Harvey Harwood.
He attended school in Crawfordsville. He was a meat cutter for 42 years with United Food & Commercial Workers International Union.
He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Shirar of Darlington; daughter, Tracey Harwood of Crawfordsville; sons, Kelly Harwood of Sullivan and Casey (Heather) Harwood of Waynetown; sisters, Debra Harvey of Alvin, Ill., and Judith (Steve) Helgers of Darlington; one grandchild, Kelby Harwood of Waynetown.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Cremation was chosen.
Friends and family can pay their respects from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
