James Cecil Howard, 88, Crawfordsville passed away Monday, August 9 at Ben Hur Health.

He was born May 5, 1933, in Tompkinsville, Ky to Malcolm Curtis & Bessie Olean Page Howard.

He was retired as a maintenance supervisor. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Crawfordsville.

On November 15, 1958 he married Ruby Day, she preceded him in death on August 28, 2017.

He is survived by his children Wendell Howard, Star Linn, and Wes Howard; Sister Ruth Cordes; brother Larry Page as well as 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings Junior Cortez Howard, Edward Curtis Howard, Helen Howard, and Jesse Ervin Howard.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with his nephew Jim Howard officiating. Visitation will be from 9-11am Friday. Interment will follow in the Mace Cemetery
