Obituary
James M. Hall, 84, of Crawfordsville, passed away at 1:45 p.m. Thursday at Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
Mr. Hall was born June 26, 1926. He was the son of William F and Hazel Rose Lewis Hall.
He graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1944. He serviced in the U.S. Navy during World War II, during the Pacific Theater. He was a retired Real Estate Broker and Appraiser.
On Jan. 6, 1950 he married Erna Lou Hambrock. They divorced on June 10, 1981. He later married Charlotte Fuller on March 17, 1988. She preceded him in death on Feb. 20, 1997. He was a member of the Masonic Order Wabash Lodge #708, Attica, 32deg Scottish Rite member, Indianapolis; 50 plus year member of American Legion #72; Life Member VFW #1431, Kentucky Colonel since 1974
He is survived by sons, J. Steven Hall of Richardson, Texas and Gary W. Hall of Lafayette; daughters, Cheryl J. Lotze-daughter- Argyle, Texas, and Elizabeth J. Hall of McKinney, Texas; and sister, Marlene Hodge of West Lafayette; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Foster "Pete" Hall; sisters, Juanita & Wyona; and Harold E.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial, with Military Rites, will be at Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Avenue. Friends and family can pay their respects from noon to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday
