James Robert Perry, 83, Crawfordsville, passed away
Tuesday evening, March 8, 2016 at
Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born September 28, 1932
in Broughtontown, Ky. to Frank
Howard and Susie Arlie (Bruner)
Perry.
He served his country in the U.S.
Army.
He married Mary M. Long on
Aug. 23, 1956. She preceded
him in death on Nov. 12,
2011.
Survivors include: children,
James H. (Carolyn)
Perry, Crawfordsville; Mitzi
Jo Dowell and Cheri Lynn
(Junior) Harris, Ky.; brothers,
John, Jack, Joe and Ed;
sisters, Judy Young and Linda
Hurt; eight grandchildren
and 14 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; children,
Michael, Carl and Jackie Sue Perry; sisters, Macel and
Mabel; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Friends and family may pay their respects from 11
a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
Service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral
home with military rites by the VFW and American Legion
Honor Guard and Pastor Mike Whitacre officiating.
Burial will be at the Ladoga Cemetery
