Obituary
James Lee Rankin of Crawfordsville died Saturday at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health-Crawfordsville. He was 74.
Mr. Rankin was retired from the printing department of the Journal Review
He was a member of Moose Lodge 6 and a 1956 graduate of Crawfordsville High School.
He was born April 4, 1938, at Crawfordsville, to Ben and Stella Myrtle (Thompson) Rankin.
Survivors include: daughters, Jamie (Scott) Winters of Danville, Ill., and Jolinda (Don) True of Berrea, Ky.; son Jeff (Josie) Rankin of Perrysville; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
His parents and brother Don Rankin are deceased.
Friends may call 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with a brief prayer service to be held at 7 p.m. Per his wishes, following the service he will be cremated with a committal service to be held at a later date.
