James B. Taylor 85, of Crawfordsville passed away February 27, 2015 at Williamsburg Healthcare.
He was born October 12, 1929 at Veedersburg to Donald B & Mable Black Taylor. On February 17, 1951 he married Barbara Hunter, she survives.
Jim Graduated from New Richmond High School and attended Butler.He was retired from the US Postal service. He owned, trained, and drove Trotters (horses) for many ears. He served in the US Air Force from 1951, 1955. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Eagles, American Legion, and Moose.
Jim is survived by: Daughters, Jamie Sue (Thom) Bayless, Janet Ellen (Steve) Hester, Crawfordsville, Jo Beth (Raul) Ramirez, Gulf Breeze, FL; Sons, Jay Brian (Lisa) Taylor, Jack (Sue) Taylor Crawfordsville; brother, Richard Taylor; sister, Suzi Smith, 10 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one grandson.
A memorial service will be held 1:00pm Wednesday at St. John's Episcopal Church with Rev. Jan Oller officiating. Cremation was chosen with Interment in the St. John's Church.
