Jane Paligraf 81, passed away on July 29, 2014. Jane was born on September 4, 1932 in Crawfordsville, Indiana to her parents Donald R. and Helen Smiley Martin.
Jane was a graduate of New Market High School and worked at the Elston Bank where she met the love of her life. She married Marty Paligraf on November 21, 9153 and they made their beautiful life together for 51 years in Crawfordsville.
Jane loved gardening, sewing, playing Euchre, bingo, and all basketball. There was no task too great for Jane if it involved her family. She was the PTO mom, the team mom, the room mom and the cookie mom. Later "Grammy" Became the number one fan of her beloved grandchildren. Swimming, basketball, golf, and volleyball games became her passion. She was also a dedicated community volunteer.
She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Helen, her husband Marty, and her son Phil. Surviving to cherish her memory is her daughter, Cindi (Mark) Koplow, daughter in law Meg Paligraf and her 5 grandchildren, Taylor and Hayden Koplow and Patrick, Maurissa and Mathew Paligraf and 4 legged companion, Maggie Jo.
In the past 4 years Jane enjoyed many new friendships at her residence, The Forum. Her family would like to thank her Forum family for their love and compassion and would like to thank Dr. Tim Tanselle for his many years of friendship.

Memorial donations may be made to the Phil Paligraf Memorial Fund, providing financial assistance to Central Indiana student athletes, PO Box 347, Fishers, IN 46038 or the charity of donor's choosing.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 11:00am at the Oak Hill Cemetery South, 473 W State Road 32, Crawfordsville, with Father Dennis Faker officiating.
