Janet E. Scherer, 71 passed away Tuesday at Aperion Care, Frankfort. She had been a lifelong resident of Crawfordsville.

Janet was born August 23, 1947 to Edward & Ilene Grace Angling Scherer.

She was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Chalmers. She enjoyed gospel music and attending Church. She had no siblings but was a sibling to all her cousins.

She is survived by her cousins Lucinda (Michael) Brooks, Kathy (Johnny) Barnes, JackQuain (Wayne) Newcomer and Linda Peck.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Reve Michael H. Brooks officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery North. Visitation will be from 12-1 on Friday at the funeral home.
