Jeanne W. Burnstein, 94, Crawfordsville, passed away Friday at GreenTree Assisted Living in West Lafayette.

She was born on August 5, 1919 in Boone County to Delbert and Florence (Campbell) Walton.

Her memberships included the Montgomery County Art League and Friends of the Library.  She was a great cook whose life centered around her family.  She married Charles Burnstein and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include her brother, Jack (Donna) Walton of Crawfordsville, nieces and nephews, Rebecca (Terry) Peacock of Crawfordsville, Linda Walton (Randy Stark) of Iowa, Pete Walton (Jennifer White) of Crawfordsville, Timothy (Karen) Walton of Lafayette, Cindy Rice of Lafayette, John Walton (Steve Klink) of San Francisco, CA, Marsha (Barry) Raff of Maryland and Paul (Jane) Rosenstein of Massachusetts.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Donald Walton.

Cremation was selected with services to be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Montgomery County Art League or St. Elizabeth Hospice.
