Jimmie Lee Perkins, 85, Crawfordsville, passed away April 6 ^th at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born on October 9, 1934 in Oblong, IL to Paul and Rachel (Weck) Perkins.  He married Vernece Burk and she preceded him in death on August 31, 2015.  He was retired from the U.S. Steel Industry. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his children, Rickey L. (Julia) Perkins and Bradley K. Perkins and grandchildren, Christopher L. and Kyle M. Perkins.

Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
