Jo Ann Peffley, 87 of Crawfordsville passed away in her home on Wednesday Dec 11 surrounded by her loving family. Jo Ann was born on October 9,1932 in New Castle Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents Mahlon and Amy Overholser and her husband Jewel Peffley. After Jewel's death JoAnn remarried Clifford Cook who passed away last December.

Jo Ann is survived by a brother William Overholser of Kokomo, IN and her four children. Jueleen Avery of Crawfordsville. Judy and John Butz of Coatesville IN. Jackie Cowan of Crawfordsville and John and Sally Peffley of Sullivan IN. Jo Ann had 13 Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

Jo Ann loved spending time with her very large family. She is remembered by her family and friends as a very beautiful person both inside and outside. She was known for her beautiful smile and her caring and loving manner with all those that she met. Her strong faith comforted her during the last weeks of her life.

Jo Ann's favorite past time was spending time with family and friends. For her there could never be too many people plied in to her home on East Wabash Avenue.

Family and friends can call between 12 and 2 on Saturday Dec 14 at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with a brief service at 2 followed by interment at Oak Hill Cemetery.
