Joan M. Lewis, 88, Crawfordsville, passed away Saturday at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was a homemaker whose memberships included First Christian Church, Crawfordsville Art League and Needleworkers Group F.
She was born January 10, 1925 in Indianapolis to Romus and Elvina (Sealoff) Keller. She was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School and attended Indiana University. She married John E. Lewis. He preceded her in death in 1981. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara (Tim) Sullivan of Indianapolis, a son, Thomas E. Lewis of the Turks and Caicos Islands, a sister, Ann Holmberg of Bellingham, WA, granddaughters, Melissa Odenbach of Downers Grove, IL, Ashley Sullivan of Birmingham, MI, Calli Lewis of Charlotte, NC and Kasey Lewis of Wilmington, NC. She is also survived by a great granddaughter, Avery Odenbach.
Private graveside services are scheduled for Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery North with Dr. Raymond Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wabash College in memory of John and Joan Lewis.
