John Wesley Hudson, 57, of Crawfordsville, IN, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at IU Health Methodist Hospital. John passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

He was born September 10, 1964, at Utrecht, Netherlands, to Cecil K Hudson and Janice M Meenach.

John graduated from Crawfordsville High School, class of 1982, and served in the U.S. Navy. He married the love of his life, Linda Proctor, on May 7, 1982. They loved playing Yahtzee, and visiting French Lick and Gatlinburg. John also enjoyed golfing, watching the Cubs, and Purdue basketball.

John leaves behind his wife of 40 years. He also leaves behind his two daughters, Amanda (Brad) Strong, Ashley Hudson and fiancé Ryan Gruesser; grandchildren, Madilynn, Allison, and Nolan; siblings, Tim (EJ), Tom (Vicki), Terry (Marlene), Rob (Lisa), Matt (Paula), and Pamela (Steve) Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents

A Celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday, March 9 from 3-5 pm at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
