Johnnie Jones, 71 of Crawfordsville passed away at home with his family by his side.

He was born November 4, 1952, in Henderson, KY to John & Violet Vangilder Jones.

Johnnie served in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam 1969-70.  He worked many jobs most recently retiring as a custodian at Crawfordsville Schools.  Johnnie liked to go to yard sales and flea markets with is wife in search of bargains.

He married Jenny Ford Alfrey in 2003, and she survives. Also surviving are his step-children Aaron Alfrey, Ashley Alfrey, and Sean Alfrey; Son Shawn Jones; Brother David Carman of Henderson KY; Sister Tammy Langston of Henderson, KY; and several Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son Jamie Jones, and his parents.

Cremation was chosen. Hunt & Son Funeral Home was entrusted with care.
