Joseph Tod Hyten passed away at Franciscan Health on Monday April 1, 2019 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born January 20, 1967 in Howell, MI to Hugh Hyten and Sue (Cox) Bousman. He graduated from Greencastle High School. He married Catherine Michele (Arnett) Hyten on August 19, 1995. Joseph owned Amped Fitness and was coach to Team Hyten MMA. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Zane A. Hyten and Trenton J. Hyten of New Market IN; his mother; his sister Stephanie Hyten LaFontaine; sister-in-law Christy (Arnett) Dale and husband Jerry; nephews Luke LaFontaine and Kyler Dale; niece Alyssa (Dale) Browning and husband Steven; grandson Eric C. Hyten; and great nephew, Jace Browning. He was preceded in death by his son Kyle T. Hyten; father Hugh Hyten;  in-laws James and Janie Arnett; Step-father Edward Hammond. Visitation will be held Friday, April 5th from 4:00-7:00 pm at Hunt & Son Funeral Home in Crawfordsville, IN. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
