Joy Ann Rush, 70, Crawfordsville, passed away Monday morning, November 9, 2020, at Franciscan Hospital Lafayette. She was born April 28, 1950, in Ladoga to James (deceased) and Edna Oakley. She was a dedicated wife of 46 years to Melvin Rush before his passing in 2016.
She was a loving mother to Larry Lee Rush (Jennifer), Jerry Allen Rush (Amanda), and Britney Breann Rush (Randall) as well as a proud mama to five granddaughters; Courtney (David), Lillian, Mackenzie, Raegan, and Monroe and two grandsons; Michael and Jacob. She was also a caring sibling to James Oakley, Marty Brown (Hal), and Mary Holt (Daryl). She adored her 14-year-old dog, Maggie, and tolerated her husband's cat, Abby Normal.

She graduated from Ladoga High School and later proudly earned her business degree from Indiana Business College. She was retired from Franciscan Crawfordsville where she could be remembered by many from her position in admitting.
She was a member of the Whitesville Christian Church. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting. She was also a member of a crafting club that met on Mondays. She was loved by all and could always put a smile on everyone's face and make them laugh with her quick wit.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, November 21, from 11:00am- 1:00pm at Whitesville Christian Church.
