Obituary
Joyce M. Birk, 83, Crawfordsville, passed away Monday at St. Elizabeth Health in Crawfordsville.
She was born March 25, 1931 in Cambridge, WI to Edmund and Luella (Shoemaker) Bergholz. She graduated from Cambridge High School and was a homemaker whose memberships included The Women's Club of Oregon, IL, American Legion Auxiliary and the Presbyterian Church.
She married Herb Birk and he survives at Crawfordsville. Also surviving are her children, Jeff (Debbie) Birk of Crawfordsville, Greg (Carroll) Birk of Switzerland and Vicki (Don) Horneck of Irrigon, OR. In addition six grandchildren and six great grandchildren survive.
A memorial service is planned for 1:00 PM Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Oregon, IL. A private burial will follow on Sunday Lake Ripley Cemetery in Cambridge, WI.
