Geneva Joyce Staton Brown, 73, of Crawfordsville passed away Friday at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born November 20, 1932 to Clarence and Betty Mae Scott Staton, and raised by parents Earl & Vida Scott Laurimore. She was a 1951 graduate of Crawfordsville High School.

Mrs. Brown worked at RR Donnelley for 10 years before becoming a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of Trinity United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women's group. She was also a member of The Pearl Club and Sugar Creek Travel Club.

She married Kenneth L. Brown March 26, 1955, he survives. She is also survived by her children; Daniel Brown of Linden; Phil (Becky) Brown of Crawfordsville, and Teresa (Michael) Teague of Crawfordsville. She is also survived by five grandchildren Joshua, Megan, Becca, Jacob, and Madelyn. A sister Judith (Wayne) Miller of Indianapolis and Brother Russell (Bonnie) Staton of Crawfordsville also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Diana Kay Brown and Grandson Nicholas Teague.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30am Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 110 S. Blair St., with the Rev. Phil Collier officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may call 4-8 Monday at the funeral home.
