Juanita Chloteal Nichols, 82, Crawfordsville, passed away Monday at Ben Hur Nursing Home.

She was born on February 12, 1932 in Crawfordsville to Elijah and Eunice Pearl (Breaden) Nichols.  She was a 1949 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and retired from Indiana Bell in 1984 after 32 years.

Her memberships included American Legion, VFW, Eagles, and the Pioneer Club.

Survivors include brother, Richard Lee (Shirley) Nichols of Crawfordsville and sister, Anna White of Crawfordsville.  IN addition several nieces and nephews survive.

She is preceded in death by sisters, Bettie Douglas, Beverly Davenport and Goldie Diebold.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Peck officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Grant Avenue.  Friends may call 12PM-2 PM Wednesday in the funeral home.
