Judith Burke Oswalt, 77 of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday December 15 at Wellbrooke.
She was retired from Wabash College where she was an Administrative assistant in the Social Science department. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Phi Chi Epsilon, Wabash Women, Sugar Creek Quilt Guild, and Various bridge clubs.
Judy loved to sew, was an avid reader, enjoyed supporting local theater, kept herself informed in politics and sports, looked forward to sitting in her comfy chair by the fire with her remote control. Her biggest regret with her declining health was not being able to play bridge with her friends.
She was born May 7, 1939 in Crawfordsville to Harry Lee & Mary Virginia Dickerson Burke. She attended Ball State University.
Judy is survived by her daughters Amy (Don) Cochran and Martha (Jeff) Harms as well as grandchildren Jacob Fulwider, Meredith Fulwider, Chance Harms, Margaret Lewellen, Miranda Lewellen and Max Harms.
A Celebration of her life will be held Tuesday December 20 from 5-7pm at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor's choosing.
