Julia Ann Scaggs, 72 of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday at home.

She was born July 8, 1946 in Hendricks County to Marion & Rosemary Worrell Olmstead.

Julia was a retired Medical Assistant. She loved drinking her Pepsi, reading, making bead jewelry, and was very involved in her Apartment community and her grandkids.

She is survived by her children Jonathan Quearry of Danville, IN; Wendy Hiland of Pittsboro and Jennifer Taylor of Texas.  Also surviving are her life partner Bill Franklin; her brother Patrick Olmstead; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her son Stoney Quearry and brother Mike Olmstead.

Cremation was chosen with a Celebration of her life to be held at a later date.  Hunt & Son Funeral Home is assisting the family.
