Kathleen T. (Kitty) Osting, 85, passed away Friday August 23 at the Danville Rehabilitation Center, Danville, IN.

Kitty, the youngest of four children was born in Appleton, WI January 4, 1934 to Charles and Agnus Mahoney Waters. She graduated from Parker High School in Chicago, where she met her husband, Donald R. Osting. They married in 1953 and had 3 children. The Osting's relocated from Chicago to Crawfordsville in 1966. Family and faith were the focus of her life. Kitty worked in retail clothing at Modern Miss and Loeb's. She had a passion for music and dancing.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald R. Osting in 2012 and son Donald C Osting in 1981. Surviving family members include daughter Kathleen (Thomas) Shannon of Andover, MA; Daughter Patricia (Larry) Stuffle of Avon; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life mass will be held 10:30am Saturday at ST. Bernard's Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County, 1104 Big 4 Arch Rd, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
