Kathryn L Smith, 90, passed away August 1, 2025.

She was born on December 26, 1934 in Boone County to Donald E. and Janice (Stuart) Massing. In 1953 she married Richard W. Smith and he preceded her in death.  She worked for the Crawfordsville Community School corporation for more than 30 years.  She was also a member of First Baptist church where she belonged to the Sisters Sunday School Class. She enjoyed gardening as well as spending time with close friends and family.

She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Diane Keim and Sharon Lee (Bill) Noland, both of Lebanon, brothers, Art Massing and John Massing and a sister, Jacqueline Parker along with five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Phyllis Parker, Fran Massing and Anne Peek.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
