Obituary
Kenneth R. Eyler, of Crawfordsville, died at 8:01 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, in his home. He was 78.
Born on Sept. 9, 1931 in Crawfordsville to parents George and Vivian Eyler, Mr. Eyler was retired from RR Donnelley. He served in the Army National Guard from 1949-1958 and was a member of Running T Family. He graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1949.
He married Roselyn Bottorff on Aug. 18, 1951; she preceded him in death on April 15, 2008.
Survivors include sons Rick (Bev) and Mike (Anita) Eyler of Crawfordsville, sisters Charlene (Bill) Arola of Crawfordsville and Joann (Gene) Murphy of Middletown, Ohio, and Peggy (Bob) Greer of Crawfordsville, as well as four grandchildren, Amanda Truax, Matt (Abra) Eyler, Lyndsie Eyler, and Kayla Eyler.
He also leaves behind great grandchildren Dylan and Carter Eyler.
A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with The Rev. Mike Whitacre officiating. Cremation will follow the service, with visitation from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
