Kimberly Ann Taylor passed peacefully on February 14, 2026 at 8:14PM at the age of 62 years. Born to mother Jacquelyn Delp on July 16th, 1963, Kim grew to be a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and artist. Often seen with the gaggle of kiddos as she took them on walks through Darlington, painting random windows she’d fish out of dumpsters, or baking desserts for loved ones (or for her insatiable sweet tooth), all with that bright smile and infectious laugh of hers.
Passionate about making others feel loved, Kim spent a majority of her adult life caring for children and her community. A creative through and through, she loved painting, crafting, and making things her own.
Kimberly is survived by her husband, Charles Taylor, and children Andrew Emerson-Taylor (Spencer), and Mary Taylor, as well as her siblings, Jane Kincaid (Dean), and John Roche, and grandchild Oliver (mother, Gretchen Taylor). She is preceded in death by her sister Lori Quigg, mother Jacquelyn Roche and stepfather whom she considered her dad, John (Dugan) Roche.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Friday, February 20 with visitation beginning at 11 AM.. The family suggests adding a spark of holiday cheer to your attire to honor Kim’s love for Christmas. Kim detested cut flowers, famously yelling at her husband when he sent her some after a date. So, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to Sugar Creek Players. But above all else, laugh loudly, hug tightly, and love bigly.
