Larry George Dickerson, 81, Crawfordsville, passed away Wednesday at his residence. He was born October 2, 1936 in Crawfordsville to Ralph and Helen (Layne) Dickerson. He married Linda Fine and she survives.

He had been a pressman at R. R. Donnelly's. His memberships included First Baptist Church, American Legion, the Eagles and the Moose Lodge. He was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He attended Murray State College on a basketball scholarship and was a member of Montgomery County Basketball Hall of Fame.

Survivors include his wife, daughters Teresa Jeffers and Debbie (Jacob) Davis along with six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Sisters Carolyn Dickerson Christensen and Lorayne Summers. He is preceded in death by a son, Daniel, Sister Elayne Harvey and Brother Tom Dickerson.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Whitacre officiating. Entombment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call 12-2 Monday in the funeral home.
