Larry G. Robison passed away Thursday at his Darlington residence at 71 years old. He was born April 13, 1943, in Crawfordsville to Gerald and Cora (Smith) Robison. He married Lyn Harris on July 10, 1966. She survives.
Larry was a veterinarian with practices for both large and small animals. He also worked at Agrivest in Waynetown.
Larry graduated from Waveland High School in 1961 and Purdue University in 1967. He was a captain in the United States Army, serving in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969.
Larry enjoyed going to Purdue men's basketball games, fishing, outdoor activities and was once a beekeeper. He loved his family and community.
Larry was a member of Darlington United Methodist Church, the American and Indiana Veterinarian Medical Associations, American Association of Swine Veterinarians, American Legion and was once president of Darlington Forever, Inc.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Gail (Roberto) Heredia of Columbus. He has three grandchildren, Gabriela, Laura and Tito.
Visitation hours are scheduled 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Pastor Joe Sanford officiating. Larry will be buried at Mace Cemetery.
