Larry Joe Utz, 61, of Crawfordsville passed away April 23, 2014, at St. Eliza- beth Hospital East. He was born Jan. 18, 1953, at Crawfordsville, to Joseph and Mary Butler Utz.

He was a retired Surveyor. He worked as Montgom- ery County Surveyor for 12 years. He was involved in the American Softball Associa- tion and a member of the Crawfordsville Moose Lodge & Eagles. He also enjoyed attending Crawfordsville High School and Wabash College Sporting events. He married Marilyn Hun- ley on Sept. 15,1972. She preceded him in death on Oct. 31, 2006. Survivors include sons, Aaron (Patti) Utz of Craw- fordsville, Adam (Sherry) Utz of Grapevine, TX; sister Linda Estep of Crawfords- ville; and two grandchildren, Morgan and Mason.

Funeral services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial is at Pisgah Cem- etery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday. Memorial contribu- tions may be made to the funeral home to help with ex- penses
