Laura Hunt, 65 of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born September 16, 1946 in Crawfordsville to Walter Lee and Shirley Ann Whitecotton. She was a 1965 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and attended Indiana State University. Laura worked as a preschool teacher for many years at Calico Cat Nursery School, and was a member and past president of Delta Theta Tau Sorority.

She married Thomas N. Hunt on October 7, 1967, he survives. She is also survived by her mother Shirley Whitecotton; her two sons David (Karin) Hunt and Rob Hunt (Jim Heinzman); Her sister Leslie Whitecotton Lawrence all of Crawfordsville. She also has two grandchildren Holly and Kyle Hunt.


Funeral services will be held 10:30am Monday at Rock Point Church with the Pastor Terry Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may call from 2-6 Sunday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
