Lowell J. Wright, 94, Crawfordsville passed away at 10:50 a.m., Friday, in Williamsburg Healthcare.

He was a farmer and custodian at Crawfordsville schools.

He had served in the Army Air Corps in World War II.

Memberships included Rock Point Church.

He had attended school in Missouri.

Born Jan. 20, 1917, in New Market, he was the son of James and Sarah Ellen Petty Wright. He married Rosemary Ransdell on May 10, 1947. She survives.

Other survivors include sons, Donnie (Kim) Wright and Jerry (Debbie) Wright of Crawfordsville; daughters, Lydia Jean (Marvin) Young of Crawfordsville and Doris (Mike) Roarks of Stuart, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Thompson officiating and burial in Indian Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
