Lyle Wayne Quigg, 74, New Market, passed
away Saturday at St. Vincent Heart Center in
Indianapolis.
He was retired from RR Donnelley, where he
worked as a material handler for 42 years.
His memberships included the Prime Time
Group in Roachdale and New Market First
Baptist Church where he served in various
offices. He was also a member of the 50 plus
club in New Market. He enjoyed woodworking,
reading, gardening and traveling with his family.
He was born June 27, 1938, in Crawfordsville,
to Curtis M. and Dorothy Faye (Crisp)
Quigg. He was a 1956 graduate of New Market
High School. He married Wilma Robbins on
Oct. 3, 1959, and she survives.
Additional survivors include: son Steven
Wayne (Jodie) Quigg of New Market; daughters,
Sharon Kay (Jeff) Williams of Ladoga,
Sandee S. (Tim) Conkright of New Market and
Shirley Lynn (Jim) Todd of Crawfordsville; and
sisters, Judith Cord and Dorothy Waye, both of
Crawfordsville. He is also survived by seven
grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and
several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and
two sisters, Lois Fairfield and
Lucille Hopkins.
Funeral services will be
10 a.m.Wednesday at New
Market First Baptist Church
with the Revs.Wally Nichols
and Jim Ranard officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Hill
Cemetery on Grant Avenue.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at
the church.
