Obituary
Lyle Louise Stark, 81, of Crawfordsville, passed away Thursday evening in her home.
Mrs. Stark was born Aug. 29, 1929 in Crawfordsville. She is the daughter of Clarence and Nellie Ritter Birge.
She was a 1947 graduate of Crawfordsville High School. She was married to Richard Ora Stark for 63 years. He survives. She did volunteer work for the Red Cross and various nursing homes. She was a Pink Lady at Culver Hospital. She enjoyed writing books. She attended New Hope Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband; children, Claudette Stark Raper, John Wesley Stark, Sally Stark Zachary and Brenda Stark Schalk; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Allen Stark; siblings, Vera Arterburn, Victoria Merrill and Ernest Claude Birge.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Michael Whitacre officiating. Burial will be at Darlington I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Friends and family can pay their respects from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
