Obituary
Marcella Jean Thomas, 85 went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, May 6, 2015.
She was born Sept. 2, 1929 in Crawfordsville to Raymond and Blanche Blue Holmes.
Jean worked at the Montgomery County Beverage Company and Community Action Program. She was a past member of the Moose Lodge and loved to play bingo. Jean helped raise and care for her sisters and several nieces and nephews. She loved her dogs, Molly and Tessa.
She married Homer Thomas; he preceded her in death in 1979.
She is survived by her sisters, Alice (Ed) Grayson of Florida, Charlotte Keller of Las Vegas, Nev., and Sue Stonebraker of Las Vegas, Nev.; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill, Raymond E. and Leonard "Sonny" Holmes.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Keller officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery North. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday.
