Maribelle E. Hufford, 80, Crawfordsville, passed away noon Tuesday at her residence.
She was born on July 14, 1934 in Marion, IN to Cedric and Edith (Clock) Crow. She was a graduate of Rossville High School. She married Donald E. Hufford on April 18, 1951 and they recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary.
She and her husband lived in Tippecanoe County near Clarks Hill. She had been a farm wife for 40 years and drove a school bus for T.S.C. for 10 years. In 1989 they moved to Crawfordsville where she retired from Crawfordsville School Corporation. She had been a member of Woodland Heights Christian Church.
She had been a beautician, a great seamstress, enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and working in her flower garden.
Survivors include her husband, Donald of Crawfordsville, Son, Michael L of Indianapolis, daughter, Linda K. (Dale) Hoekema of Zionsville, brother, Rolland Crow of Lebanon, sister, Miriam Murray of Springdale, AR and a grandson, Nathan M. Hoekema of Madison, WI.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Crow.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastors Tony Thomas and Steve Wilke officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may call 12-2 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Heights Christian Church Building Fund, 468 Woodland Heights Dr. Crawfordsville, IN 47933
