Obituary

Marilyn Ross, 84, Crawfordsville, died 4:50
a.m. Monday at St. Clare Medical Center,
Crawfordsville.
Mrs. Ross was U.S. Navy Corpsman during
World War II. She was a member of St.
Bernard's Catholic Church and the American
Legion, where she was awarded lifetime
membership. She was educated at East St.
Louis High School.
She was born Aug. 6, 1924, in Centralia, Ill.,
to Louis and Edna Huckleberry Brun. She married
J. Ed Ross Oct. 25, 1945, in Astoria, Ore.
He died July 2001.
Survivors include daughters Jane (Robert) Chezem, Crawfordsville,
Lynn Ross, Indianapolis, Peggy (Don) Lane, Kokomo, Nan Ross, Lafayette, JoAnn
(David) Drinan, Lafayette, and Connie (David) McIntosh,
Muncie; son Matthew Ross, Crawfordsville; and six grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by twin sister Louise Wyatt and sister
Dorothy Sapolis.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at St.
Bernard's Catholic Church with Father David Hellmann officiating.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m.Thursday
with rosary service at 7 p.m. at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
