Obituary
Marjorie Jean Clements, 84, of Crawfordsville, passed away 2:56 AM Saturday at St. Clare Medical Center.
She was born to Rex Stockdale and Estle Spragg Stockdale in Veedersburg. She is a 1942 graduate of Hillsboro High School. She married Robert Clements on January 19,1947 in Hillsboro. He passed away on February 20, 2003.
She, along with husband Bob owned Clements Canoes in Crawfordsville and Camp Margethe Resort in Grayling, MI. She was a member of New Liberty Christian Church in Hillsboro.
Marjorie contracted polio in 1951 and lived her life courageously. In addition she was a loving wife mother, and grandmother. Marjorie enjoyed her family and many friends.
Shi is survived by sons, Jim(Debbie) of Grayling, MI and Fred (Janet) of Crawfordsville and a daughter, Cathy Clements (Mike Slattery) of Indianapolis. In addition six grandchildren and four great grandchildren survive.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday in the funeral home with Rev. Alan Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery on Grant Avenue. Visitation will be 4-8 Pm Wednesday in the funeral home.
