Obituary
Mark T. Mefford, 65, of Crawfordsville, died at 7:55 p.m. March 16, 2010 at Hickory Creek.
Born on Jan. 16, 1945 in Crawfordsville to parents Gordon Albert and Virginia Ellen Freeman Mefford, he retired in 2000 from R.R. Donnelley-Columbia House.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Church Alive. He graduated from Crawfordsville High School and Lamar Community College, before graduating from Colorado State.
He married Sheron Kay Hodges on Aug. 30, 1969 in Crawfordsville. She survives. Additional survivors include son Justin Travis Mefford of Crawfordsville and Susie Hamm Locker. He also leaves behind grandchildren Brodrick, Brooke and Braelyn Mefford.
A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with George and Sandy McClosky officiating. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Friday. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery South.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of American Cancer Society.
