Obituary
Martha Jeanne Hardaway, 90, of Mace passed away Wednesday morning at Lane House Nursing Home.
She was born May 25, 1924, at Crawfordsville to Manley and Ruth (Harris) Dice. She married Robert Hardaway, and he passed away in 2007.
Martha had been a homemaker and a member of Mace United Methodist Church. She graduated from New Ross High School and attended Ball State University.
Survivors include: children, James Hardaway, Barbara Hardaway Scattergood and Patricia Hardaway; brothers, William Edgar Dice and James Beecher Dice, seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Anne Hudson and sisters, Julia Dice Foxworthy and Mary Dice Shreve.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Tami Mussche officiating. Burial will follow at Mace Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
