Martha Montgomery, 88, of Greencastle and
formerly of Crawfordsville, died 4:20 p.m. Friday
at Hickory Creek at Sunset, Greencastle.
Mrs. Montgomery retired from Wabash College.
Her memberships included First Christian
Church of Crawfordsville and Daughters of
the American Revolution. She was educated
at New Richmond High School and Lafayette
Business College.
She was born July 16, 1920, at Montgomery
County, to Isaac Herrod Montgomery and Edith
Rice Montgomery.
Survivors include sister Mary Windler,
Fowler; several nieces and nephews; several
great nieces and nephews; and several great
great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by brother Robert
Montgomery and sister Mrs. Warren Harshbarger.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m.
Tuesday April 14th at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with
Rev. Keith Strain officiating. Burial will be at Linden
Cemetery. Friends may call 10-11 a.m.
Tuesday at the funeral home.
