Martha Yano, 82, Crawfordsville, passed away Monday at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was a registered nurse for Culver Hospital and multiple other health care facilities.
She was born on February 2, 1931 in Lafayette to Harry T. and Minnie Ione (Eberly) Ford. She married Donald Yano on June 10, 1951 and he preceded her in death on July 1, 1989. She graduated from Lafayette Jeff High School in 1949 and Home Hospital School of Nursing in 1953.
Survivors include sons, Scott of Crawfordsville and Matthew (Brenda) of Gulf Breeze, FL, daughter, Denise (Mark) Patton of Crawfordsville, 21 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son David in 2006 and a daughter, Kathy Grady in 1992.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Parks officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may call 4-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
