Marvin D. Young went home to be with the Lord July 10 ^th, 2020, surrounded by his loving family & will be greatly missed. He was born Nov. 30 ^th 1945, in Lebanon, IN. The only child of Robert & Ruth (Dziggle) Young. He attended Darlington High School & graduated in 1964. Then graduated from Indiana Business College. He was honorably discharged from the Army after 2 years. He proudly worked at R.R. Donnelly's as a hoist driver before retiring after 44 years. He married Lydia Jean Wright in 1970 and had 49 years of marriage.

He is survived by his wife Lydia Jean and 3 daughters Trena (Patrick Alenduff), Tisha (Ron Zachary Jr.), Tifanie (Kyle Longest), and 7 wonderful grandkids whom he adored. Brandon, Devon, Shane, Jayden, Sidney, Logan, and Halle.

He loved watching the grandkids play sports. He was a big sports fanatic. He enjoyed farming, mushroom hunting, fishing, talking with friends and family, and being the jokester.  You could always hear him going down the road singing to his favorite country songs. He loved to have the last word.

He has chosen to be cremated and have a celebration of life. The celebration will take place on Tuesday July 14, 2020 from 4pm to 7pm, at his family farm that is located at 3707 E. 500 N. Crawfordsville, IN, near Darlington. We appreciate the omission of flowers.
