Mary Lou Beck, 77, Crawfordsville, died 12:55 a.m. Wednesday at Lane House Nursing Home.

She was a member of New Creation Ministries, active in Special Olympics and activities for the handicapped.

She was born Jan. 14, 1930 at Smith Mills, Ky. to the late William and Ollie Rigdon Hancock. She married Robert L. Beck. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Wayne Beck, Henderson, Ky.; Tommy (Barb) Howell, Crawfordsville; and Robert Beck, Crawfordsville; six daughters, Sandy Underwood, Yuba City, Calif.; Sherrill (Chuck) Million, Ladoga; Diane Matthews, Crawfordsville; Frances (Jim) Denman, Waynetown; Julie Bridwell, Waterloo, Iowa; and Elizabeth Tipton, Crawfordsville; a grandson she raised, Christopher Blickenstaff, Crawfordsville; three brothers, Francis Hancock, Sparks, Nev.; Larry Hancock, Louisville, Ky.; and Dave Hancock, Birchtree, Mo.; three sisters, Martha Martin, Geneva, Ky.; Debbie Woddard, Henderson, Ky.; and Cathy Abbott, Robards, Ky.; 29 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are 11 a.m. Saturday at Victory Family Church with the Pastors Duane Bryant and Wendall Raney officiating. Burial will be in Ladoga Cemetery. Visitation hours are 4-8 p.m. friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
