Mary Jane Paxton Cale went home to the Lord Wednesday July 24.

She was born April 8, 1931 in Brown Township, Montgomery County to Claude & Pauline Haserodt Paxton. She was a member of Cashie Baptist Church in Windsor, NC.

Mary graduated from Ladoga in 1949. She was married to Madison D. Cale for 40 years.

She worked at RR Donnelley's for 371/2 years, retiring in October 1993.

Mary is survived by her daughter Dancy Lynn (George) Scharf of Crawfordsville; Son John (Juanita) Cale of Zionsville; Grandson Greg Linn of Mace, Granddaughters Ginger Hart of Zionsville; Kim (Vince) Kersho of Hernando, FL; & Peggie (Steve) Berninger of Crawfordsville. She has one brother Joe (Sheila) Paxton.

Mary has five great grandchildren Morgan, Kelly, Carter, Madison & Cayden and 1 great-great grandchild Oakley Rose.

She was preceded in death by brothers Richard, Thomas & Alva, Sisters Margie & Irma.

A graveside service will be held 11:00am Monday at Mace Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6pm Sunday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home.
