91 year old Mary Patricia Munstenteiger Erickson passed away at Saunders Senior Living Uvalde Texas August 30th 2021.  Born June 24, 1930 to Benedict and Isabel (Latour) Munstenteiger of Maple Lake MN, she was the 3rd of seven children in her family.  On August 12th 1950 she married William Martin Erickson of Annandale MN.  To this union four daughters were born; Becky (Duane) Flaagan Pekin ND, Cindy (Bob) Arnold Lake City IA, Jill (David) Asher Lebanon In, and Jackie (Daniel) Schlichting Uvalde TX. From 1953 to 1968 Mary and family lived in Minot ND where she was a homemaker, professional seamstress, artist and active in Little Flower Catholic Parish.  From 1968 to 1975 the Erickson family lived in Milnor ND where Mary continued her interests while her husband Bill was manager of RSR Rural Electric Cooperative . In 1975 Mary and family moved to New Richmond IN where Bill became manager of Tipmont REMC in Linden IN. Together they enjoyed traveling on business trips, visiting family, fishing, and ballroom dancing.  Upon retirement in 1995 and as their health declined, they soon moved to Lebanon IN to be with Jill and family. Several years after Bill's death in 2013,  Mary moved to Uvalde TX to reside with her daughter Jackie and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, sisters Anabel Jude, Rita Jude, brothers in-law Greg and Cliff Jude, brothers Joseph, Stephen, and James Munstenteiger, sister in-law Myra Munstenteiger and sister in-law and brother in-law Lorraine and Johnny Olson .

She is survived by brother Larry (Janet) Munstenteiger of Maple Lake MN, sisters in-law Kathy Munstenteiger Groen Minneapolis MN, Mary Bakkan Munstenteiger Coon Rapids MN, Gracie Muehring and brother in law Willis Muehring of South Haven MN, four daughters and sons in-law, 8 grandchildren,11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and special care provider Laure Schlichting.

A  Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated September 1st at St Raymond's Catholic Church in Leakey TX with burial to be held September 11th in St Bernard Catholic Cemetery Crawfordsville IN
