Obituary
Mary Lucille Hunt, 93, of Crawfordsville died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, at the Lane House Nursing Home.
She worked for the Old Farmer's Creamery but was best known for working at The Strand Theater for over 35 years.
Her memberships included: First United Methodist Church; United Methodist Women; and she also volunteered as treasurer for the Wesley Thrift Shop for many years.
She was a 1941 graduate of Crawfordsville High School.
She was born May 20, 1923, at Crawfordsville, one of six children, to James and Sarah (Swank) Schweitzer. She married Alfred "Bus" Hunt. He preceded her in death in 1985.
Survivors include: daughter Marsha (Sam) Smith; granddaughters, Susan (Kent) Hardin and Maribeth (Aaron) Smith; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave., with the Rev. Patty Bymaster officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may call 4-6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church.
