Mary Paith, 89, of Crawfordsville, passed away Sunday morning at St Clare Medical Center.

Mrs. Paith was born Aug. 4, 1917 in Crawfordsville to Ira McIntire and Ida (Weaver) McIntire.

She graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1935.

She married Wayne S. Paith on Nov. 25, 1936. He passed away Feb. 11, 1991.

She worked for the shirt factory and then Farm Bureau Co-Op.

Memberships included Christ's United Methodist Church, Royal Neighbors and several card clubs.

Survivors include a daughter, Loralee Bennett of Linden; four grandchildren, Lisa Bennett, Aaron (Missy) Bennett, Stacy Bennett and Kayla Bennett and two great-grandchildren, Haley Bennett and Hunter Bennett. She was preceded in death by brothers, Garrold, John C. and Charles McIntire and a sister, Thelma Bowers.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home

with Rev. John Pettigrew officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends and family may call 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
